The Air Jordan XII (12) was released in 96'-97' NBA season and were the 1st Air Jordan shoes on the Jordan Brand Line. In this season MJ lost the MVP award by the narrowest margin in NBA history to Karl Malone as he helped lead his Jazz to the NBA finals only to fall to MJ and the Bulls. MJ wore the Air Jordan XII's (12) while he took home his 5th NBA title and 5th NBA finals MVP.
