The Air Jordan's II (2) was released in 1987 they were designed by Bruce Kilgore, who also designed the Nike's Air Force 1 that was also made in Italy. This was the 1st of the Jordan series that didn't feature a Swoosh. MJ wore this shoe while winning his 1st NBA slam dunk contest. The Air Jordan (2) was re-released in 1990 during MJ's 1st retirement. Sales were low and the shoe was heavily discounted.
